The biggest ever Coca-Cola Games is all set to start today as close to 3,000 athletes come together after a lapse of two years.

Defending girls champion, Adi Cakobau School have stated they will approach this year’s Games with more team effort and coach Antonio Raboiliku says they are well prepared to defend their title.

ACS team captain, Mareta Lewawai who hails from Wainimala says this year’s meet will be special for her as for the first time, her parents will travel from Naitasiri to watch her compete at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Lewawai will dedicate her performance to her late grandfather.

Boys defending champion Ratu Kadavulevu School will be fielding 69 athletes as they aim to defend their title.

Team captain, Vilikesa Vonolagi believes they have prepared well for this meet.

The Coca-Cola Games will start at 10 this morning at the HFC Bank Stadium.
