14-year-old Suva Grammar School student, Waisale Bolakoro has won the gold medal in the Sub Junior Discus event this morning.
He threw a distance of 39.68 metres.
Meanwhile Kels Kau of QVS settled for silver and Epeli Tamani also of QVS won the bronze medal.
