Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says if people have a blue voter card that does not have a polling venue on it, they should upgrade to the updated blue voter card.

He says if the voter has a card that is blue, it is a valid voter card, however, to ensure a voter does not get disappointed during election day, they need to have a blue voter card that has the polling venue on them.

Saneem says a person's voter card is like a receipt where a voter knows they will vote.

He adds that a blue voter card that has the polling venue on them can be used by a voter to clarify to the FEO personnel working in a polling venue that they should vote at that place, even though their names are not on the voter roll of that particular polling venue.
