The Marist Brothers High School Under 18 side are the new Vodafone Super Deans champions after defeating Suva Grammar School 9-8 in thrilling final.

They defeated the Eastern Zone champions, RKS in the quarterfinal and beat the Western Zone champions, Ba Provincial Freebird Institute in the semifinal.
Coach Jone Temo says their objective today was to come and take the Deans title back to Flagstaff.
He says he told the boys if they believe in themselves, they can do it.
Earlier today in the Vodafone Super Deans Competition, RKS beat Marist 27-19 in the Under 14 final, RKS defeated QVS 19-12 in the Under 15 final, QVS defeated Grammar 27-12 in the Under 16 final, Grammar beat Marist 8-3 in the Under 17 final and Ra High School defeated Ratu Navula College 15-8 in the Under 19 final.
In the Raluve Weet-Bix Competition, Sigatoka Methodist College defeated Naitasiri Secondary School 12-10 in the Under 16 final and Natabua High School beat Jasper Williams High School 10-5.
