Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says that the Coalition government will be providing a $200 per child back to school initiative for families with combine income of $50,000 or below.
While announcing the initiative, Rabuka says they have allocated $50 million for this assistance through re-deployment of funds within the current budget.
Rabuka says this assistance is due to the hardship that many families are facing due to COVID-19 and the contraction of the economy whereby a lot of people have lost their jobs.
