Newcastle United has humiliated Tottenham Hotspur 6-1 to close in on top on top-four finish on the English Premier League table.
Newcastle scored 5 goals in the 21 minutes in the first half.
Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak each scored twice and Joelinton added another as Newcastle led 5-0 at half time.
Harry Kane scored for Tottenham but Callum Wilson added a sixth coming off the bench.
The embarrassing defeat is a significant blow to Tottenham’s dwindling hopes of securing Champions League qualification - but in contrast, Newcastle are now in a commanding position to finish in the top four as they climb to third.
In another match this morning, West Ham beat Bournemouth 4-0.
