The Fiji National Rugby League hopes to select a 20-member squad for their 9s team to the Pacific Games in November this year by holding 3 9s tournaments, starting this Saturday at the Bidesi and Buckhurst grounds in Laucala.
FNRL 9s Head Coach Vulaono Dakuitoga confirms that 16 men's teams and 8 women's teams will participate in the 3-week tournament.
Dakuitoga says the second tournament will be held next Saturday and the third tournament will be held on the following Saturday.
He adds that he has selected a number of players ahead of the tournament this Saturday, but an open door opportunity is available for those that still want to join the team.
