16 teams in the Vodafone Eastern Secondary Schools Deans Competition, 14 teams from the Western Zone, 4 teams from the Southern Zone and 5 teams from the Northern Zone have qualified for the Vodafone Secondary Schools Super Deans Competition.
Looking at the Eastern Zone, RKS has qualified in the U14, U15, U16, U17 and U19 grades, Lelean Memorial School has qualified in the U14 and U18 grades, while QVS has qualified in the U15, U16, U17 and U18 grades.
Also qualified from the Eastern Zone to the National Raluve quarter-finals are ACS and Lelean in the U16 grade and Dawasamu Secondary and ACS in the U18 grades.
Looking at the Western Zone, Natabua High School has qualified in the U16, U17 and U18 grades, Cuvu College has qualified in the U15 and U18 grades, Sigatoka Methodist has qualified in the U15 grade, Xavier College has qualified in the U16 grade, while Ratu Navula and Ra High have qualified for the U19 grade.
Also qualified from the Western Zone are Sigatoka Methodist and Jasper Williams High School U16 sides and the Natabua and Jasper U18 teams for the National Raluve competition.
Looking at the Southern Zone, Marist Brothers High School and Suva Grammar School have booked their quarter-final spots in the U14 and U15 grades.
The Southern Zone semifinal matches were called off last Saturday due to bad weather, however, they will be completed today at Bidesi and Buckhurst Park. Stay with us for updates on the semis.
Teams in the Northern Zone Deans Competition that also earned a spot in the national quarters are the U15 team of Shiri Guru Nanak Khalsa College, the U17 Labasa College side and the U19 Dreketi Central College team.
2 teams in the Northern Raluve competition have also qualified for the National Raluve quarters, the U16 of Nabala Secondary School and the U18 of Shiri Guru Nanak Khalsa College.
The Taveuni Sub-Zone and Savusavu Sub-Zone will be finalising their teams this week.
The Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union had earlier confirmed that 3 teams will qualify from the Eastern Zone, 3 from the Southern Zone and 2 teams will qualify from the Western Zone to the Vodafone Super Secondary Schools Deans Competition.
