Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) is advising all its customers that they will be having a planned power shutdown in most parts of Fiji tomorrow at scheduled times.

In a statement, EFL says this is due to urgent power line maintenance that is planned to be carried out tomorrow.

They say the planned shutdown is subject to weather conditions on the scheduled times and dates.

Area: Pacific Harbour, Deuba

Time: 6.00 am to 7.00 pm

Areas affected: Part of Queens Highway from Pacific Harbour to Nakoba Settlement Serua, River Drive, Part of Hibiscus Drive from River Drive Junction to Kura Place, Kura Place, Saqa Place, Atoll Place, Belo Circle, Kavika Place, Donu Place, Sevua Circle, Evuevu Place, The Establishment Restaurant and Bar, Auckland Enterprises Fiji PTE Limited, Riks Harbour Restaurant, Parag & Sons, Pacific Harbour Ocean and Island Excursions, Rainbow Hardware, Mike Shopping Centre, The Rustic Table Restaurant, Freedive Fiji Charters, Deuba Minimart, Sevua Circle.

Areas affected: The whole area of Lutu Road, Waidewara Farm

Time; 8.00am to 6.00pm

Areas affected: Savura Valley Road, Jai Santaram Warehouse- Wailoku, Taveuni Kava & Dalo Dealers- Wailoku, WAF- Savura Valley Road, United Pentecostal Assembly.

Area: Labasa

Time: 8.30 am to 4.00 pm

Areas affected: Kawakawamoli Settlement

Area: Part of Wairabetia, Lautoka

Time: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Areas affected: Part of the Wairabetia area, Part of Saru Back Road and Part of Vuda Back Road.

Area: Waqadra

Time: 9.00 am to 4.30 pm

Areas affected: Waqadra Rural, R Prataps Quarry, Waqadra WAF Sewerage Plant, Part of Nadi Back Road and Gateway Harvest Church Site.

EFL is urging its customers to treat every line as being live as circumstances may cause any power line to be electrified at any time.
