The search is underway for two people who entered Alison Supermarket at Laucala Beach, threatened the staff with cane knives and stole cash and other items before fleeing in a taxi that was found a few minutes later in Tacirua Heights.

Police say the incident occurred at after 10 o’clock this morning and the taxi was found after 11am.

Investigations continue.
