Filipe Sauturaga scored in extra time to give the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side three wins out of three at the HSBC Vancouver 7s, defeating Spain 26-21 this morning.

Spain gave Fiji a run for their money as they put a lot of pressure on our boys throughout the match.

Sauturaga's presence was felt when he came into the match in the second half as he scored the last points to put the match into extra time.

He delivered once again in extra time as he muscled his way into the try line giving Fiji the win.

Other tries for Fiji came from Tira Patterson and Mosese Raqona.

Meanwhile, Fiji defeated Uruguay 38-12 in the first pool match and then beat the USA 33-12 in their second match.

The men's cup quarter-finals will kick off at 12.51pm today, the cup semi-finals will begin at 8.30am tomorrow, and the Cup Final will kick off at 1.05pm tomorrow.
