Indonesia defeated Fiji by 42 runs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier this afternoon at Albert Park in Suva.
Fiji scored 101 runs in 19.3 overs, while Indonesia posted 143 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
This is Fiji’s second loss in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in another match, Japan defeated Samoa by 71 runs.
The semifinals will take place on Saturday at 9am and 1.30pm, while the final will be played on Monday.
Eight countries are participating in the competition, including Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
