Police are now combing areas around Naseyani village in Ra after the vehicle used in the $150,000 Anita Jewellers heist this morning was found abandoned in the vicinity this afternoon.
Police confirm that village is about 5 kilometers inland and they have extended there search for the seven masked men.
One of the Directors of Anita Jewelers, Bhaskar Lal Jogia has confirmed that a robber who posed as a customer, told the security officer to open the door. As the security officer opened the door four masked men armed with cane knives, pinch bars and crowbars smashed the show glass and entered the jewellery store and fled with the jewellery.
