Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni said he has handed Tevita Fa's letter regarding businessman Ballu Khan's claim of assault to the internal department of police to investigate.

Teleni said he advised them to read the content of the letter and to advise him within the next few days time on the matter.

Meanwhile, Ballu Khan's QC Peter Williams met with two senior police officers yesterday afternoon to explain the reason why their client should be allowed to go to New Zealand for medical treatment.

Senior QC, Peter Williams told Village News this morning that they met with Chief Investigator, SP Tevita Lesu and Inspector Isireli Tagicaki and have been assured that they will discuss the issues raised by Williams with the senior officers.

Williams claims that Khan's health condition is deteriorating day by day.
