Thousands of people are still without tap water in most parts of the Ba area.
Ba Advisory Councillor, Viam Pillay said the water problem started soon after the January floods, and since then people have been struggling to get water.
Meanwhile, the PRO for Works and Energy Ministry, Sainiana Waqainabete said that Ba was the most affected district during the recent floods and work is currently underway.
