A father in his early 40's charged with 6 counts of incest and rape, today appeared before High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo and pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The Court heard that between January to May of 2006, the father is alleged to have had carnal knowledge with his daughter, who was under the age of 13 at the time.
The alleged incident is believed to have taken place in Suva.
After his charges were read out to him in Court, the accused pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The accused's lawyer, Barbara Malimali asked the Court for proper disclosure as there were some information that were not taken into account.
The matter has been adjourned to the 19th of March next year for a pre-trial conference before a hearing date is set.
