Blues rugby team coach Pat Lam has admitted his side faced an uphill battle when they were down 24 0 after 32 minutes in the match against Reds last night.
The Blues eventually lost 37-31, but were able to pick up two bonus points which could prove crucial for the playoff spots.
While that was pleasing for Lam to get two points, he said it was disappointing that they allowed the Reds such a big lead.
Meanwhile, in another match last night, Highlanders beat Hurricanes 13-6.
In tonight's matches, Chiefs host Stormers at 7.35pm and at 9.40pm, Brumbies play Lions.
