The non resident Ambassador for the Kingdom of Belgium to Fiji, His Excellency Patrick Renault presented his credentials this morning to Fiji's President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Renault also paid a courtesy call to Fiji's Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at Government Buildings following his credential presentation at Government House.

Conveying the well wishes of the King of Belgium, His Majesty Albert II, the Belgian envoy who was accompanied by the Investment and Trade Commissioner, Nathalie Surmont expressed his gratitude for his visit and stay in Fiji.

Fiji currently has a diplomatic mission based in Belgium's capital, Brussels which is accredited to other European countries and organizations including the European Union and the World Trade Organisation.
