With six days to go for Christmas, religious organizations are gearing up to mark and celebrate the festive holiday.
Vicar General of the archdiocese of Suva, Father Beni Kalou Dau said the various catholic churches will mark Christmas with their own special celebrations.
Father Dau said this is a time of unity and peace.
Meanwhile, Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha of Fiji has sent out the message of togetherness and celebrating in spirit.
General Secretary, Vijendra Prakash said this is a time for people to pray and be happy.
He said every member of a family looks forward to this season so they should make the most of it.
