The Tertiary Education Loan Scheme and National Toppers Scheme is only available for students who sat for Form 7 or did foundation study last year.
This is the clarification from Tertiary Education Loan and Scholarship Scheme Board Chairman Dixon Seeto after numerous enquiries from people who have completed school before 2013.
Seeto reiterated that the National Toppers Scheme full scholarships are for the top 600 applicants from Form 7 and foundation students in 2013 who scored over 300 marks in priority areas established by the Government.
He said for the Tertiary Education Loans Scheme, Form 7 and foundation students in 2013 who scored over 200 marks can take interest-free loans under this scheme to cover their University Tuition fees if they study on a full-time basis.
Seeto said they are still in the process of finalizing the National Toppers Scheme.
