A 36‑year‑old woman who was involved in an accident this morning along the Waimanu road has been treated and sent home.

Police say that Reshmi Singh lost control of the vehicle due to the wet road condition and tumbled hitting a curb.

Bystanders at the scene helped Singh and her two children out their vehicle and placed the vehicle back in its right position.

There were no fatalities.
