Students from various primary and secondary schools around the country took a pledge as part of the Suicide Prevention Awareness Campaign today.
Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy said the campaign will allow children of all ages to realise that they are not alone and that they can rely on their parents and different organisations to guide and support them.
Reddy added that all the children of Fiji must live their lives to the fullest.
There have been 89 suicides and 80 attempted suicides this year.
