A 58-year-old man who raped his six year old step-daughter last year has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.
The man was convicted for two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The court heard that the man raped the six year old girl various times at night in 2014.
Justice Paul Madigan says the crimes were discovered at school when the six year old girl felt ill and the mother came to know about the incidents.
The medical examination revealed evidence of recent violent sexual abuse.
