Joining the Vodafone Flying Fijians is a dream come true for former Marist Brothers High School student and Pau centre, Jale Vatubua.
Vatubua who has been playing alongside former All Black Conrad Smith in the Top 14 in France is looking forward to making the final 28-member travelling squad to Australia and make his debut next weekend.
Vatubua will be competing with Levani Botia, Vereniki Goneva, Eroni Vasiteri and Albert Vulivuli in the centres.
Meanwhile coach, John McKee will name his 28 member travelling squad this Friday.
Local and overseas based players have also gone into camp at the Grand Pacific Hotel from today.
McKee says he will closely monitor the fitness of the players before he selects his side.
Some of the overseas based players who have joined camp include Vereniki Goneva, Nikola Matawalu, Napolioni Dawai, Viliame Mata, Sikeli Nabou, Campese Ma’afu, Tevita Cavubati, Jale Vatubua, Benito Masilevu, Peni Ravai and Dominiko Waqaniburotu.
The team will break camp on Saturday before Flying out to Australia.
The Wallabies will host the Flying Fijians at 9pm next Saturday.
