A training facilitated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports was conducted in the Western Division to offer Duke of Edinburgh International Award (DEIA) Program to young Fijians.
The objective of this training was to register Peace Corps Volunteer as Award Leaders and to promote the Duke of Edinburgh International Award to youth clubs, schools and communities.
Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou encouraged youths to actively participate in the program.
He says it’s very encouraging to see the Peace Corps Volunteers attending the Award Leaders’ training.
