4 to 6 swimmers who are in the squad have qualified to represent Fiji in swimming at the Commonwealth Games in April, the final names will be confirmed by 7th February.
This has been confirmed by Fiji swimming Coach, Sharon Smith who adds that preparations leading up to the Commonwealth Games are going well.
Smith also highlighted that 3 swimmers in the squad, Matelita Buadromo, Epeli Rabua and Taichi Vakasama will be attending a camp in the Gold Coast from 29th January to 2nd February.
She says that upon their return the 3 swimmers will be participating in the Grand Prix competition in Suva on the 10th Feb of February.
Smith has also confirmed that Swimming Fiji did not have any swimmers take part at the Pacific Mini Games in December last year as there was no swimming at the Mini Games.
