Two men have been arrested in relation to the desecration of two temples in two separate incidents last month.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with one count of sacrilege for his alleged involvement in the desecration of a temple in Wainibuku last month.
Varasiko Adrole appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court earlier today.
Meanwhile, a team of investigators from the Nakasi Police Station arrested and charged a man in his 20s for his alleged involvement in the desecration of a temple in Sasawira.
The team arrested the accused in Kadavu over the weekend and will be escorting him to Suva where he will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court later this week.
He has also been charged with one count of sacrilege.
