Two men found guilty of killing a 40-year-old man in Nawaicoba, Nadi in 2014 will be sentenced tomorrow in the Lautoka High Court.

Mataiasi Ului has been convicted for a count of murder while Maikeli Loko has been found guilty for a count of manslaughter.

Ului, Loko, Rakesh Kumar and Vinod Saegran were each charged with a count of murder four years ago however Kumar and Saegran were acquitted of the charge after the trial last week.

The four assessors had earlier found the four men not guilty of a count of murder however, High Court Judge, Justice Paul Madigan later convicted Ului and Loko for count each of murder and manslaughter respectively.

It was alleged that the 40-year-old deceased was practicing witchcraft against Rakesh Kumar and Kumar and his three workers assaulted him on 14th April, 2014.
