Man involved in fatal Lami accident remanded in court

The 23-year-old man who was driving the vehicle that hit the 77-year-old woman in front of the Lami Police Station on Saturday resulting in her death, appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court.

Shiuwal Shavinul Chand applied for bail and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear again in court today for his bail ruling.
