A 34-year-old bus driver charged with raping a 12-year-old student in 2016 will face a trial before High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza in August.
Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza has fixed the trial from the 20th to the 24th of August this year.
Sanjay Naidu is alleged to have raped the student along one of the bus stops on Princes Road on 12th November 2016.
The victim had boarded the bus from Nausori and had fallen asleep on the way.
Naidu's bail has been extended and the case has been adjourned to 30th July.
