A 20-year-old man charged with rape has been remanded in custody by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

It is alleged that the man raped his 28-year-old cousin on the 20th of this month in Nasinu.

Magistrate Sufia Hamza has transferred the matter to the Suva High Court as it is an indictable offense.

The case has been adjourned to the 2nd of next month.
