A total of 120 women artisans, 40 from each of the provinces in Vanua Levu are taking part in the 3 day craft show held at the Savusavu Market foreshore.

Vuniwaqa says 80 women exhibitors will be selected to participate at the National Women’s Expo in Suva based on their ability to meet market demand and the quality of their products.

She says that the Divisional and National Expo will also help to keep our traditional handicrafts alive.

Vuniwaqa reiterated that the purpose of the Divisional Expos is for women artisans to produce quality products that are a level up from previous years National Expo and to build a new business culture amongst rural women artisans.
