The driver of the bus that was involved in an accident at the Nadi Bus stand where a woman passed away on Thursday afternoon has been questioned and released.
Police have confirmed that they are yet to receive the outcome of the vehicle inspection of the bus.
Another woman is still admitted in the Lautoka ICU after sustaining injuries from the accident.
Police say initial information gathered reveal that the bus which was parked, suddenly started moving and crashed into the area where the woman was sitting.
Police believe at this stage that there may have been a brake failure but the bus will be taken for vehicle inspection.
It has also been confirmed the driver was in the bus when the incident occurred.
