Thurston to play his 300th NRL game this weekend

Johnathan Thurston will play his 300th NRL game this Saturday and also set a new record for most games played for the Cowboys.

Thurston will break the record set by his good mate, North Queensland Cowboys Matthew Bowen.

Thurston will play his 271st NRL match for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys will face the Sharks at 6.50pm Saturday.
