The driver of the bus that was involved in an accident at the Nadi Bus Stand where a woman passed away last Thursday afternoon has been charged with manslaughter.
Police have confirmed that they are yet to receive the outcome of the vehicle inspection of the bus.
Another woman is still admitted at the Lautoka Hospital ICU after sustaining injuries in the accident.
Police say initial information gathered reveal that the bus which was parked, suddenly started moving and crashed into the area where the woman was sitting.
It is also believed that there may have been a brake failure but Police are still awaiting the results of the vehicle inspection.
It was also confirmed that the driver was in the bus when the incident occurred.
