A man has pleaded guilty to a count each of act with intent to cause grievous harm, serious assault, damaging property and resisting arrest.

Taniela Vakalala admitted to punching his wife, kicking her and hitting her with a piece of wood on the head and also assaulting a female officer.

The matter was called before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar who has adjourned the case to the 28th of this month for the defence to discuss the summary of facts.
