Oceania Rugby Women’s Director Cathy Wong has become the first ever woman from the region to be appointed to be part of the World Rugby Council.
While making the announcement at the Grand Pacific Hotel today, Oceania Rugby President Richard Sapias says this is a historic event and they are proud to have Wong as Oceania’s representative.
Rugby Service Manager Oceania World Rugby and General Manager Oceania Rugby, Bruce Cook says that Wong’s appointment will boost the development of women’s rugby in the region.
