Police are investigating the deaths of two people over the weekend while the search continues for another man reported missing.
Police say a man was swept away by strong currents in Tavua on Friday while crossing the Tabutabu Bridge along the Nadelei River.
Three villagers were able to locate the victim.
The body of a 12‑year‑old boy was also found floating in the Natabua River Saturday.
Police say a corrections officer found the victim's body floating near their complex and rushed him to the Lautoka Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A 67‑year‑old Navala villager in Ba is also missing.
He was swept away by strong currents as he was trying to cross the Yaloku Bridge.
