The Fijian Tourism Expo 2018 which was scheduled to take place this week from tomorrow till Thursday, and all activities related to the official program, has been cancelled.
In a statement, Tourism Fiji has announced that due to events beyond its control the difficult decision was made with the safety of all delegates and partners in mind with the impending serious weather conditions and this morning's Fiji Meteorology Service advice of a Tropical Cyclone Alert for Fiji coinciding with the event dates.
Tourism Fiji adds that alternative travel arrangements are now being made for all their international guests who are in the country.
