The Fijiana 7s team will face Australia in the Cup quarterfinals of the Kitakyushu Sevens currently underway in Japan.
Fiji beat England 31-12 and defeated Russia 29-5 to top Pool C.
The Fiji Women’s 7s team lost to Canada 38-14 in their opening match.
Meanwhile, New Zealand finished the pool stages as the only unbeaten team in the tournament while Spain became the first team to beat Olympic champions Australia in the 2018 series.
Fiji will play Australia at 1.52pm in the second cup quarterfinal.
Meanwhile the first cup quarter final will be played between New Zealand and China at 1.30pm.
In other quarter finals France will play Russia while Spain will take on England.
The semi-final will start at 5.20pm while the final will be held at 8.30pm tonight.
