A 19-year-old man who pleaded guilty to a count each of aggravated burglary and arson has been sentenced to two years and 11 months imprisonment by Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.

Josaia Naiwau entered Ocean Bountiful Limited in Lami with the intent to commit theft and he also burnt the building.

The incident occurred on the 13th of March last year.

A non‑parole period of 17 months has been set.
