The semifinal match between tennis greats Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokavic has been suspended until tomorrow with Djokovic leading 2 sets to 1.
The match was unlikely to finish today due to Merton Council having installed a curfew of 11pm (10am Fiji Time) at the All England Club.
The Championships, Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London, since 1877.
Meanwhile in the first semifinal Kevin Anderson defeated John Isner after six hours and 35 minutes to book a spot in the final
Nadal and Djokovic had to wait for the conclusion of John Isner and Kevin Anderson match which played out to be the longest Wimbledon semi‑final of all time.
Nadal and Djokovic have only met twice at Wimbledon, Nadal winning their 2007 semi final when Djokovic retired hurt, the Serb gaining revenge in the 2011 final.
The pair have produced some of the greatest matches ever seen which include memorable Grand Slam finals and career defining victories.
They have met in 7 Grand Slam finals, 4 Grand Slam semi finals and 1 Olympic semi final with Djokovic leading 26 25 in their head to head.
Meanwhile, Serena Williams will face Germany's Angelique Kerber for an eighth Wimbledon singles title after both won their semi finals in straight sets.
Sunday's final will be a re match of the 2016 showpiece between the two, which Williams won.
Williams will be seeking a record equalling 24th Grand Slam title and her first since giving birth in September.
