Minister for Labour Jone Usamate has opened the ministry’s first Customer Service Centre at Nadi’s Korovolu Lane which will offer various services including the National Employment Centre, Worker’s Compensation, Mediation, Labour Standard Services and Occupational Health and Safety Services.

Usamate while opening the center said it will bring to fruition their vision of achieving decent work and employment growth through strong core values that include responsiveness.

The minister for employment also launched the ministry’s new centralized information system which will allow customers to be updated of their labour complainants, compensation cases and other issues.
