Viliame Sokiveta who has been charged with one count of act to cause grievous harm has pleaded guilty.

It was heard in court that he assaulted his 29-year-old daughter on the 13th of June this year in Nasinu.

The prosecution told High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar that Sokiveta’s daughter came home and Sokiveta had told the daughter to leave their premises and she refused and then he assaulted her.

The matter has been adjourned to next Tuesday.
