I do not think it is good to make a mockery of the Prime Minister.
These were the sentiments of the Attorney General and Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum at the 2018-2019 National Budget Roadshow at Rampur College in Navua last night, when questioned by a Navua resident Mereia Colati on when will Navua be declared a town.
Colati says that the Prime Minister had told them last year that Navua will be declared a town in September and they do not know which September.
The Minister for Economy said that making a mockery of the Prime Minister, is not right.
Sayed-Khaiyum says that they want to upgrade Navua to a respectable level as there are certain parts of Navua that needs to be upgraded.
