The inclusion of more lanes into Nadi town from the Sigatoka end will be trialed from 7am to 9am today depending on the volume of traffic.
Police say that traffic officers are implementing temporary measures to look at ways of improving traffic flow into Nadi town.
It adds that road signs will be erected to indicate the temporary measures that will be implemented during this trial period to see if it will help ease traffic flow when term 3 of the school year begins next week.
Police are also requesting members of the public to be patient with their traffic officers during this trial period.
