Four men and a woman are in police custody in relation to an aggravated robbery case at the home of a 40-year-old businessman in Solovi, Nadi last Sunday.
Police say a group of men armed with cane knives are alleged to have forcefully entered the home of the victim last Sunday morning and threatened his family before robbing cash, jewellery and electronic items and fled in the victims car which was later found abandoned.
The Western Division taskforce team had been working around the clock in pursuing the suspects and also managed to recover items believed to have been stolen as investigations focused on receivers also.
Two of the men arrested are alleged to be involved in the aggravated robbery while two others were taken in after stolen items were allegedly found in their possession.
The fifth suspect, a woman was arrested as she was also found with items believed to have been stolen.
Police say the taskforce team continues to pursue other suspects and the focus on receivers is also a priority.
