A good number of people have gathered at the Fiji-China Friendship Pavilion at Terry Walk in Suva in the last hour to witness the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day of China.
President of the Chinese Association of Fiji Jenny Seeto who was impressed with the turnout says that diversity and inclusion is the only way we can prosper as a nation.
Speaking to Fijivillage Seeto says that while the Association continues to foster the importance of education to their members they are also encouraging them to succeed in agriculture one of the very reasons the Chinese community had come to Fiji.
Seeto adds that they still believe that they have an important role in agriculture as it is a big industry for the country.
She adds that the Chinese community believe that it is not only about attaining a degree rather other aspects are of great importance and one of them is ploughing the land.
The celebration was organised by the Chinese Association of Fiji.
