300 kits were presented to the Habitat for Humanity Fiji from the Snowy Mountain Engineering Cooperation.
The Kits consists of Tarpaulins and ropes that are expected to provide temporary shelter to families, after a natural disaster until permanent arrangements are made.
Snowy Mountain Engineering Cooperation Regional Manager, Zahid Iqbal says that are very happy to work with Habitat for Humanity Fiji in providing resources to help disaster victims.
Iqbal says that they had seen how cyclone Winston had badly affected the nation bringing about wide scale destruction adding that by providing assistance, they will have helped and bring hope to people who have lost their belongings during Disasters.
Meanwhile National Director for Habitat for Humanity Fiji, Masi Latianara says that the assistance given by Snowy Mountain Engineering Cooperation will greatly help low income disaster affected communities.
