Cooper Cronk's Grand Final dream remains alive after he was named in the Roosters' 19‑man squad last night.

Cronk took part in a private training session to test out his shoulder yesterday, after a week of rehabilitation like never before in one of the most durable careers the game has seen.

He has only missed 18 games through injury in the past 13 seasons and is understood to have been getting between four to five hours of daily treatment from Roosters medical staff in his bid to overcome a rotator cuff injury and take on former club Melbourne tonight.

Cronk is renowned for his professional approach to his game and said he has "gone up 1000 knots this week" in regards to rehabilitation.

Sydney Roosters will play Melbourne Storm at 9.20 tonight in the NRL Grand Final.
